About Northwind
Our story
Family owned. Montana grown.
Northwind Homes started when we went looking for a home of our own. We found it hard to get the features we wanted, so we set out to build a house for ourselves. Along the way, we learned how much we loved the work, and watching a beautiful set of plans come to life.
Building our own homes taught us how to put the things we care about into a house, and how to do it with real value. Now we bring that to every client: comfortable, good-looking homes, built right.
Every homeowner has a few things that matter most. Our ultimate goal is to find out what those are and build them into your home, so you get what you really want.
What sets us apart
Quality homes. Built right.
01
Small by design
We take on a limited number of projects. That lets us work closely with each client and make sure they get what they want.
02
Design and build under one roof
We draw most plans in-house and bring in an architect or engineer when a build calls for it. That helps keep costs down.
03
Finishes that fit your budget
Pick from our standard selections, or we'll source what you want. Either way, we work within your budget.
Where we build
Where we build
We build homes across the Flathead Valley, from Bigfork to Lakeside, Whitefish to Columbia Falls, and of course Kalispell, in the heart of the Valley. Not sure if your land is in our area? Ask us.
